Lovely fragrance from dark purple buds that fade to light purple blossoms.  Beautiful dark green ruffled leaves, with a lighter green underside.  Compact, rounded shape. Grows about 3-7' tall, 4'-6' wide. Grows wider than taller. Full sun/part shade.  Fertilize before growth in spring.  Drought tolerant once established.
